Game and values, how to teach through fun

What child is not fair to enjoy playing? If it were not for the responsibilities they have, surely the youngest of the house would spend all day having fun in this way, and the older ones with them. The best thing about these situations is that games and teaching are not at odds, as in all activity, you can always learn something from all situations.

In fact, through the game, children can learn different values. From empathy, to solidarity, through savings. Choosing the activity that best suits each teaching and making the little ones have fun with them is a great instrument to achieve this goal. Here we propose a series of games with which to teach values ​​to the little ones.


Games with which to teach values

- The guide. This game is simple, one of the children will have to blindfold and the other will guide him through a path. The mission is that those who do not see learn the value of trust and their partner what it means to take care of someone who is handicapped and help them as much as possible.

- The supermarket. On the one hand, whoever acts as a cashier will learn the responsibility of carrying out this business, while the child who acts as the client will learn the value of money and savings. With the money that the latter has to comply with a list of the purchase, and the other watch that charges the right for the products.


- The treasure hunt. Group a few children and explain that there is a hidden treasure and give it several clues. The mission is for all of them to agree to work hand in hand to reach the goal. A great way to instill teamwork among the little ones.

- Race of tied feet. Tying the foot of the little ones with a small ribbon and making them walk on a walk to the finish will teach children the value of teamwork and coordination with their peers to achieve their goals.

- Invent a story. The parents choose three words that suppose the axes of a story that the children must count, for example "castle, dragon and crown". From here it's up to the little ones to unleash their imagination to invent a story in which they demonstrate their creativity.

Playing as a family not only teaches values, it also brings great benefits to the little ones. This is remembered from the Observatory of Children's Play, entity that recommends that families dedicate at least 10 minutes a day of these activities to achieve all these positive results:
