Minimalism, the trend of 21st century mothers

In minimalism less is more. This is the essential maxim of the minimalist style whose objective is to reduce to the essentials to only show the simplest and most pure, leaving out all the remaining elements.

The minimalist style It is a current design in decoration, in dress ... where the presence of decorative items it is reduced to the maximum. It stands out for being a trend of pure and simple lines, basic colors and natural fabrics ... where the most basic and elementary is trend, but in turn inspires the rest of the trends. The current fashion is increasingly impregnated with a practical sense, leaving aside the baroque and the merely accessory.

Welcome to the minimalist style

Minimalism has to do with simplicity and austerity in fashion and decoration, and with a similar lifestyle that is free of excesses and superfluous and useless things. It is a practical, comfortable and aesthetically correct style.

The minimalism it consists of saying a lot with seemingly eloquent garments. It is a difficult style because it is about doing wonders avoiding the maximum jewelery, scarves and decorative details on the clothes, but always giving an immaculate and very careful image.

The 4 commandments of a good minimalist

Purity of lines

The line is in principle simple following the natural harmony of the body. Given the austerity of the style and given the scarcity of deterrents that can disguise defects, it is important to take into account the morphotype of each to act accordingly.

Impeccable fabric

Whenever sloppy fabrics are avoided, with little body or inclination to the wrinkle, almost everything is admitted: from Classic fabrics, such as wool, until others more of trend like the lurex (fiber that intervenes in different tissues to give them particular metallic effects).

Neutral colors

The genuinely minimalist colors are the range ofs gray, beige, black, white and black; other colors can also fit as long as they are opaque. Choose smooth fabrics but a finite stripe, a tweed or a mottled fabric do not bother and evia¡ta the prints especially if they are very vociferous, they would end with the zen-like welfare that must convey this trend.

Absence of complements

Discarded those that do not have more utility than aesthetics. Logically, the basics like the bag are allowed.

Survive minimalism

What can we do to fit minimalism into our lives?

1. Play with the contrasts: gloss-opaque, smooth-mottled, etc., when the colors are the same shade or the same range.

2. Colors can be mixed (without going over, 2 or 3 is enough), as long as they are flat and have a similar texture.

3. Choose simple clothes, but that stand out for a detail in its design: a pleated skirt, a bellows coat, a cape, a bat sleeve sweater *

4. The hair will go in tune and very well combed. A well-stretched ponytail fits perfectly, just like smooth manes. The short manes should be square. The muted and opaque manes are not contemplated in this style.

5. Costume jewelery It's out of the question, but metallic hoops or small earrings give an elegant touch.
