The official title of English TOEIC already in all universities

TOEIC is the official English certificate most used in the world and is already a reality in all public universities in Spain. This official degree recognized internationally in more than 180 countries and the most used in professional and academic environments is already considered in 100% of Spanish public universities.

More than 14,000 companies and 9,000 educational organizations validate it as the most optimal test of verification of a person's English language ability. In Spain there are more than 45,000 tests per year and the number of companies that have incorporated it into their selection and internal promotion processes continues to grow; while in the academic sphere, institutions such as the CRUE (Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities), ACLES (Association of Language Centers of Higher Education) and all Spanish public universities recognize it as a valid accreditation to obtain the university degree, access to master's degree and postgraduate programs.

TOEIC opens the doors to an Erasmus

Any student can, through this degree, accredit, according to the current educational plan, the level of English language required by their university (B1 or B2) for the obtaining a university degree, access to a master's degree and postgraduate programs. TOEIC also allows access to the experience of take an Erasmus, all this being able to choose one of the TOEIC Scholarships with which not only reduces the amount of the title, but includes online courses to prepare for the exam and much lower rates.

In addition, the number of Spanish public universities that host the exams in their internal Language Centers continues to grow. At present, there are already 13 of the 50 national public universities, not counting the National University of Distance Education (UNED), which are part of the network of TOEIC examining centers in our country. Among them are the Pablo de Olavide (UPO) universities in Seville and the universities of Almería (UAL), Granada (UGR), and Huelva (UHU) in Andalusia; the University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM), the University of León (ULE), the University of Valladolid (UVA), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the University of Lleida (UdL), the Universitat Politècnica de Valéncia (UPV), the University of Murcia (UMU) and the King Juan Carlos (URJC) and Polytechnic in Madrid (UPM).

For several years now, many of these Spanish public universities are already requesting a minimum level of English to finish university studies, as required by the current Bologna Educational Plan, however, there is no standardization at the moment for the required level.

As an example, some universities in Catalonia, Cantabria, Madrid, the Balearic Islands and the Valencian Community demand a B2, the equivalent of a high intermediate level. Other public universities, such as those located in Zaragoza and Andalusia, request a B1.

Regardless of the level required in each Autonomous Community, accrediting the level of English through an official certificate becomes essential in a work environment as competitive as the current one. Therefore, TOEIC contributes to facilitate access to employment opportunities and practices where each student can begin to lay the foundations of their future.
