The stories and their ability to suggest to children
Do they have suggestion ability for children tales? In reality it is our ability to feel trapped by the stories, projecting our emotional experience, which guides us in the knowledge of what may be happening.
It is our ability to self-manage that transports us to that moment, feeling protagonists, giving the story story part of our emotional experiences, in order to feel them close, alive and credible, very credible.
Through the stories, we also project part of how we are. On the one hand, the physicist, protagonist that we have imagined will belong to the masculine or feminine gender, according to us we are of one or the other. It will have one age or another according to ours or the one we would like to have fulfilled. The height, musculature, weight, eye color and hair will also vary according to what we have or would like to have ... and we have not read all this in the story.
What has happened is that imagination has done more than knowledge. The images that we have recreated in our mind have given more emotional value than the data that history gave us. That happens with stories thanks to autosuggestion. And that happens to children when, feeling trapped by what we tell them, they become protagonists and release their fears.
The ability to suggest stories
Suggestion and its ability to mobilize emotions is part of life. For this reason, since ancient times, stories and their transformation into stories and metaphors have been used to induce changes of all kinds. The imagination suggests us, helps us to evoke moments thanks to the images we generate.
In this sense we could say that Suggestion is a form of communication in response to a stimulus. Our body and our mind interact thanks to nervous neurotransmission. Through the senses we perceive the world that surrounds us and communicate the received information to the brain. This in turn reacts in response to that information, consciously or unconsciously, seeking and trying to recognize among its historical archives the known.
Recognize, establish associations with what we already know places us in a place in the world and that reassures us. For this reason, including reference objects of our children will help them to get involved, to let themselves be carried away by trusting in recognized and familiar references (color that they like the most, that stuffed animal with which they always play, that character in the drawings that they love. ..).
