Physical activity: check the post-holiday syndrome

The arrival of the month of September is for some the beginning of a painful and unpleasant period, which is covered under the so-called post-vocational syndrome. I think it's not about anything new, you can not talk about illness: we have always faced the return to work after the holidays with more or less encouragement. But this term has spread and generalized everywhere.

The post-holiday syndrome can take several forms. The usual thing is to suffer the return of vacations a picture of generalized weakness and asthenia. There may be insomnia problems and significant sleepiness throughout the day. The ability to concentrate and tolerance to work are limited, causing a sense of laziness and boredom.

At other times, a sense of vital anguish may appear that leads to a blockage in which the person presenting it is unable to make any decision. There may be a change of character with a certain aggressiveness, however, a symptomatology more typical of a depressive picture is usually and progressively established.

A little exercise helps overcome the post-holiday syndrome

Whether we suffer the negative effects of this modern post-vocational syndrome, it is interesting that we consider the return to daily life from the focus of physical activity.

- We have fought throughout the course to maintain a high rate of exercise and healthy life.
- Also in summer we have tried to limit some sport times.
- It is vital to face the beginning of the course with a good physical plan.
- In addition, it still accompanies the good weather.

Although it is not the only thing to combat the post-holiday syndrome, a well-programmed month of September from the point of view of physical activity will have a positive effect on our mental state and on our capacity to face the start of the course with guarantees.

1. Maintaining the pace of physical activity costs less than to start again from scratch after a long break.
2. Sport helps keep your head clear, Now that work can be more expensive.
3. Exercise makes it easier to fall asleep.
4. Sport releases tension that accumulates in the first weeks of ordinary life (home, school, work ...).
5. And it slows aging, improve our physical condition, etc.

Weekly exercise plan for the return to routine

I present a weekly plan - just for 4 days - that will serve as an example when each and every one of them considers their return to school within the Annual Plan of Physical Activity that we are trying to fix.

The keys to successfully face this course start plan are:
1. Realism We can not spend as much time or do the same as in summer.
2. Constancy You have to shield those times of sport.
3. Collective / Individual. It will be easier if we practice two or four collective sports, although we have to look for partners. It is easier to leave only because we do not depend on anyone, but sometimes it costs more.
4. Combine. We will look for activities that promote cardiovascular, others to tone muscles and some that mix both parameters.
