School trips: the Camino de Santiago with the school

The proposal of school trip of the company The Path in Family consists in carrying out as pilgrims four or five of the stages of the Camino de Santiago through the Northern route as it passes through Cantabria, in a combination of pilgrimage, leisure-cultural and multi-adventure travel, surely a magnificent opportunity to realize that age one of the most incredible experiences that will leave an indelible mark on everyone.


To provide participants with a totally different trip to the classics "School trips", in addition to leisure or cultural aspects, the values ​​of friendship, dedication, self-improvement, generosity, companionship and solidarity prevail throughout the journey.

The planned accommodation is a great hostel located in an idyllic setting on the Cantabrian coast, with multiple rooms where the students will be separated by sex, with sheet set included. The teachers will have individual rooms with independent bathroom. All will have a service of full board, which includes 4 meals a day.


Safety on the Camino de Santiago for schools

For greater peace of mind of parents and teachers, and also of the students themselves, The Camino as a family makes available to all travelers a monitor team, which will be distributed at the rate of 1 monitor for every 10 children, uniformed with identification shirts, reflective vests, mobile with data.

The Way with the school: 5 days of duration

Each day of the trip we will start walking 10 km per day, traveling roads full of history and beautiful landscapes. During the stages we will enjoy the games, songs, riddles, challenges and many other dynamics that The Path in Family knows how to organize to make walking fun, entertaining and very entertaining; unforgettable moments that will strengthen ties of friendship and camaraderie that will last forever in the memory of all.

The Camino de Santiago will allow us to enjoy unparalleled landscapes such as the Bolao cliffs, high passes and defiles typical of the Cantabrian cornice, deserted beaches ....

We will visit Santillana del Mar, Cóbreces, Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera... places that have known how to preserve their history and cultural heritage.

We have a scheduled Cultural visit to the Altamira Caves, where we will do some workshops and visit the museum and the replica of the most famous cave in our country.

Also time to carry out our multi-adventure travel activities: climbing, balance rope, gymkhana ...

And another day we will visit El Capricho de Gaudí, the palace of Sobrellano, the monument to the Marqués de comillas and we will do a cultural gymkhana by Comillas.

At night in the hostel, after showering and having dinner, we will have our evening evening to share experiences and moments of the day.

On the last night of our trip we will have a very special evening full of surprises

After completing our last stage of the trip and comer on a spectacular beach, we will start the trip back to the school.
