They request tax improvements for grandparents who care for their grandchildren
The family is much more than parents and their children. Uncles cousins, grandparents, they all share the same link. And of course they help and much to get ahead, a good example is to see how many couples turn to their relatives to take care of children before an important event to which they must go or monitor that someone can pick them up from school while they work.
In this sense, they are the grandparents who best exemplify how the concept of family extends beyond father, mother and child. They are the ones who spend much of their time taking care of their grandchildren, a job that many believe should be rewarded in some way. In fact entities like Family Forum have requested the Administration to offer tax advantages to these people.
Work advantages
Family Forum understands that the work of the grandfather is undoubtedly an important factor in the conciliation. In many occasions these people replace the function that the infantile schools or professionals dedicated to the care of minors fulfill. For this reason they should have special consideration by the Public Administration.
Many grandparents are pensioners, but taking care of a grandchild sometimes means losing money either to urgently buy some diapers or any other investment related to the grandchild. So that this remuneration for years worked is not diminished, the Public Administration should give tax advantages to these people with whom to be able to assure a good coexistence without them being altered.
The request is to give these tax benefits to grandparents, they must prove a daily care of their grandchildren. This will not only ensure that senior citizens have a good economic level, but that the work-life balance be a little easier for companies to have a figure that allows parents to continue in their work while children have who cares.
The grandparents and the family
In sight is the importance of grandparents in the watch out of the kids. But these people are very important for many other reasons:
- They provide an experience that they have gained over time.
- It was those who educated the parents and their lesson never ends.
- They passed before the age that parents and grandchildren go through and can advise.
- We can learn a lot from them since at some point we will be the grandparents
- They have a great love and affection to give to everyone.
- They are a reference point in which we must be reflected, they educated those who are now parents and the same values must be transmitted.
- They are an inexhaustible source of knowledge and experiences that it is always nice to remember with them.
- They are not a burden, they are a joy for the house.
- They are the pillar of the family.
