Most Spaniards believe that the use of the internet in minors should be limited
The world that children face is full of possibilities. The tools that are within your reach have nothing to do with those that were accessed by past generations. And among all these instruments highlights Internet, a virtual world full of content that ranges from information in real time, to other dangers such as harassment through social networks.
It is precisely these dangers that cause many parents to worry when they see their children employing Internet and all the risks that this virtual world presents. Therefore, it is not surprising that many citizens believe that there are limits to the navigation of minors in order to prevent problems. A thought that collects the last barometer thrown by the Center for Sociological Research, CIS.
Restricted access to internet
According to the data offered by the CIS, almost 85% they believe that minors should have partially restricted access to the internet. For its part, almost 58% of citizens of this country believe that parents should impose several limits when it comes to circulating on the network. Only 27.3% indicate that children should not navigate under any circumstances.
On the other side of the table is 5.3% of the respondents that he points out should have few limits for children to surf the internet. Almost 6% interpreted that these barriers should be based on the age of the child and only 1.4% think that there should be no restriction for minors to surf the Internet.
The formation of parents
This CIS survey also wanted to ask Spaniards about the training they think they have about the training they have when it comes to preventing dangers of the web. Less than half of the interviewees believe they have enough information about protection on the Internet, specifically 38.1% is the group that claims to know how to protect personal data in the network. And less than 11% say they are very informed about these issues. Something else, 15.4% admit not having any training on this subject.
Protect children
The Internet is a useful and dangerous means for children. You have to know how to get children to get all the useful information on the net and not have any problems with this navigation.
