This study was structured on surveys of victimization and habits of use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), taking as sample the set of 2038 students from twenty compulsory secondary schools throughout the province of Alicante, aged between 12 and 18 years old

According to the report, 79% of students have suffered some type of cyber attack economic, especially the boys (51.4%), while 53.7% of the minors surveyed have been subjected at some time to social cyber-attacks, giving in the girls more than half of the cases of social victimization, especially between 16 and 18 years old (61.8%).

In the section of social attacks, cyberbullying is the one that recorded a higher percentage, 50.6%. Of the girls interviewed, 52.6% admitted having suffered, while in the case of boys the percentage reached 48.7%.

On the other hand, be insulted and ridiculed It was the most used form of harassment, reaching 23% of those affected, of which 57.5% are girls and 42.4% boys.

The study also collected data on cyberbullying sexual, in which the most frequent form was the sending of messages of a sexual nature through the mobile phone and the internet, being particularly affected young women (52.2% of cases).
