The Colleges Fair is spread throughout Spain
Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville are the cities that are already confirmed to celebrate the second edition of the School Fair, which last year helped 12,000 people to choose a school for their children. And it is that next March 31 begins the period of presentation of enrollments for the next academic year 2016-2017.
Dates and venues of the School Fair
To help families to select the best school for their children, this year the Fair of the Schools is spread throughout Spain.

2016 News: Schools Fair
For this second edition of the College Fair, it is expected that they will be present more than 250 schools between the four host cities, where they will meet more than35,000 people. In addition, the Fair has the presence of the Ministries of Education. thanks to which is expected to have a total representation of up to 3,800 public schools.
Thus, between the provinces of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville they would add more than 3,800 public schools represented. The Ministries of Education will not only show the public offer, but they will also be able to answer questions about the scoring criteria on the applications, a topic that at this point always worries the families.
The forecast is that, with these data and following the same dynamics as last year, they will manage around 10,000 information sheets on new registration.
The election of school in the Fair of the Schools
The period for submission of applications for enrollment for the next academic year 2016-2017 begins in March and, depending on the autonomous community, extends until May. Something more than 480,000 children will join the education system in the Infant stage for next year. The supply of educational centers is very wide and a large part of the families, especially those that school their children for the first time, are lost within a few days of making a very important decision in the lives of their children.
So, with the idea of being able to help families in this complicated task, the fair of the schools returns in 2016 to reunite in a same space the educative offer of the private, concerted and public schools of each one of the cities in which it is celebrated. The Fair of the Schools in Madrid
Most parents, especially first-timers, feel very disoriented when faced with the task of choosing school for their children. What do we look for in our children's school? To facilitate this work, the Fair of the Schools of Madrid connects in a single space, the Racetrack of the Zarzuela, to the families with the private, concerted and public educational centers of the Community of Madrid.
The Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid will be present to inform about the almost 1,200 public schools of the Community. And more than 120 colleges between private and subsidized will also be present at the fair to give information to families.
In total, more than 1,300 schools from the total of 1,800 schools in Madrid will be represented at the event.Last year, 12,000 families attended the first edition held at the Torre de Cristal in Madrid and about 3000 requests were made by families to schools.

Last year, in a pioneering position, the Colleges Fair counted in the Torre de Cristal in Madrid with the representation of more than 1,600 centers between private, public and private schools and the attendance of more than 12,000 families, immediately becoming an event of reference that is consolidated in 2016. Never before in Spain had an event of these characteristics capable of bringing together in one place those responsible for the education of more than 800,000 students.
For this second edition in Madrid, the fair has grown and the offer of private and concert centers has increased with respect to last year and the presence of the Regional Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid will once again offer information to families about public schools in the region.
The information that may be offered by the Community of Madrid also reaches the agreed centers. It will not be so much about the concrete offer of the schools, but about the issues that have to do with the criteria of evaluation of the applications of registration that always generate doubts in the families.
The presence of the Administration ensures that the representation of the Madrid educational offer of the fair is the largest possible since there are almost 1,200 public schools that form the network of centers in the Community of Madrid.
In total, more than 120 schools represented will be represented, with more than 70,000 students, adding to the public network representation a total of around 700,000 students enrolled.
Expectations are that if the means of last year are met, some 4,000 files of interested families are made and more than 15,000 attendees attend.
