The best plans for Christmas in Madrid with children

Christmas is coming! Lights, smell of chestnuts in the streets ... and countless plans to enjoy these familiar dates with the treasures of the house! If you are looking for ideas to have fun with your children, do not forget to visit the capital these days: Madrid offers many different options and at very interesting prices. We summarize the best!

Madrid is a beautiful city that is worth visiting in practically all the seasons of the year, but at Christmas it is decorated in such a way that it should be on our list of "must see", especially to walk its beautiful streets, illuminated for the occasion .

Ice skating

Aim: the Plaza de Colón. It is the first place that becomes an unmissable event for these dates, because the incredible ice rink that is already installed will make the cold pass better (or, at least, more fun). Warm up well and enjoy this fun sport in which laughter is assured.

Navibus

The Christmas bus is another interesting option. It leaves Serrano with a schedule of 18.00 to 23.00 hours and for only two euros per ticket, except those under seven years old, traveling for free. The service will be available until the Day of Kings (on January 6) and allows large and older to walk the most emblematic roads of the capital, which are lit with beautiful Christmas motifs.

Route through the best cribs of Madrid

At Christmas Catholics celebrate the Birth of Christ. A good way to tell the story to our children is through the many beautiful nativity scenes that are distributed throughout the city: the Museum of History of Madrid, the Museum of San Isidro or the Convent of the Sisters of the Company de la Cruz are some of the must-sees.

Christmas in Palace

With this cycle of theatrical visits, interactive and free of charge, you can visit the palaces of the Dukes of Santoña, current headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, and Fernán Nuñez, which is the home of the Spanish Railways Foundation. The activity will take place in the Palace of the Dukes of Santoña on December 12 and 13, as well as on January 9 and 10. The days 19, 23, 28, 29 and 30 of December and 4 and 5 of January will take place in the Palacio de Fernán Núñez.

Those who are interested in attending the visits should send an email to [email protected], indicating name and telephone number.
