Health check-ups are also a thing of men

In the same way that women must perform gynecological tests annually, men also have a set of diagnostic tests to assess possible health problems that specifically affect the male gender.

There are diseases that only occur in men as laas related to the prostate, which usually does not present apparent signs and prevention is one of the best treatments for early diagnosis. Health professionals recommend that men over 35 years of age go to their doctor to carry out regular checks and inspections as a measure to prevent possible diseases. However, they are not usually so used to performing these controls, many times, due to ignorance.

4. Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy is an exploration that allows direct observation of the colon and occasionally, if necessary, of the distal small intestine (ileum). Experts recommend performing this type of test from 40 years in the case of men and from 35 if you have had a history of polyps or tumors in the family. Colonoscopy allows biopsies to be taken from these areas if necessary.
