Renault Kadjar, the most versatile Spanish
The new Renault Kadjar constitutes a modelcrossover that brings together the best qualities of the family versions, SUV and saloon, with aptitudes ofall-way and highly equipped. The Kadjar is sold from 19,850 euros, with a range of fourteen versions, combining four terminations, three engines to choose and two types of transmission.
In addition, this model ismanufactured exclusively for everyone at the Spanish plant in Palencia, although within a year it will also be done in China, to supply the eastern markets.
The global success of the compact Captur and the Nissan Qashqai has been the definitive argument for the French brand to develop thenew Kadjar, a very versatile car that meets the qualities of habitability offamily bodies, the comfort of the saloons and the possibilities of leaving the asphalt offered by an SUV (Sport Utility Vehichle) allcamino.
It measures 4.45 meters long, 1.84 wide and 1.60 high. Its size places it in segment C. Of the three facets we cited from Kadjar, in theoutside prevails the appearance of off-road and although it is designed to be used mainly on asphalt, it has a ground clearance of 200 mm, which allows it tocirculate smoothly by dirt tracks.
Engines and transmission
The Kadjar is available in 4x2 transmission, with or without the systemExtended Grip, or in 4x4 transmission. The mechanical offer is based on efficiency, which includes two diesel engines and one gasoline. The diesel motorization of 110 horses presents an approved consumption of only 3.8 liters per 100 km and emits 99 g of CO2 / km, well below the limit of 120 g that allows the total exemption of registration tax in Spain. This is also the case of the 130 horsepower dCi engine, with 113 g CO2 / km. Refering to gasoline engine, it is a 1.2 of 130 horses direct injection, with a consumption of 5.6 l / 100.
With the system Extended Grip, the Kadjar in the X-MOD option can circulate with good safety in low adhesion areas, such as mud, snow or sand, but if we really like to get into areas with more difficulty off road, the versions of all-wheel drive They are the best. Modular interior
