10 ideas to have fun on the beach with children

They arrive the vacations and with it the trips to the beach. Whether it's a day, a weekend, a week or a month, you have to have fun and enjoy! The beach offers countless fun options almost effortless but they will make the day by the sea a great day ... if you know how to take advantage of it. We give you some ideas to have fun with your children.

The first thing to be clear once we go to the beach, is a basic concept: On the beach the child must be stained. Yes, when we go out for a walk we avoid staining clothes, but on the beach everything is different: it is the moment when the child can have fun and play with the sand. The shower is on the way out! Let him enjoy discovering the textures of what he finds around him.

The possibilities of the beaches, with their sand and sea, are almost endless for all ages. We propose you 10 ideas to have a great time this holiday, but surely there are many more options and, in the end, even your own children will devise their own games for these rest days.

10 fun ideas for a day at the beach as a family

1.-Sandcastles. A classic of children's games (and not so childish) on the beach every summer: make sandcastles. In addition to the cube towers, you can have fun making authentic fortresses and decorating them with stones, algae and everything that comes to mind. Let the imagination flow! Just one recommendation: do not forget to dig a moat around, in case the waves of the sea want to make an appearance.

2.-Search for beach treasures. On many beaches there are lots of conches of various shapes and sizes, as well as rare stones that look almost beautiful. How about making a big booty? The shells and conches later, in addition, can be used to make many crafts at home.

3.- Bury and look for treasures. Another way to play the same game as before is to determine a zone and hide different treasures that small ones must find. The one who gets more, wins!

4.-Long jump. The sand allows us to imagine that we are Olympic athletes. Just draw a line on the sand that marks the exit, and voila. Each one jumps in turns trying to get as far as possible ... to see who wins! Of course, you will need an impartial judge.

5.-Race of marbles. We move the famous game of marbles to the beach, where you can also make authentic racing circuits with curves and jumps. Build a very sloping sand track and throw the marbles to see which one goes faster. A couple of tips: the firmer and smoother the track, the faster the marble will take.

6.-Burials. Another mythical game of the beach days is to bury someone in the sand. A small hole is emptied and someone lies down inside ... so that others cover their bodies and leave their heads outside. Once covered, you can decorate your body as a work of art. Do not forget to photograph the final result, the laughs will be assured!

7.- Jumping waves. Of course, if we are on the beach we should take a bath. If there are waves but they are not very big (do not forget to always follow the signs of the flags), jumping waves is the most fun. You can play to invent different ways of jumping (while you pull yourself towards them, raising your legs a lot, dancing, etc.).

8.- Tunnel a mountain of sand without falling. A work of engineering that does not always hold. Build a large mountain of damp sand and with your hands or shovels go digging in the base making a tunnel that reaches the other side of the mountain * but without falling. Complicated but not impossible!

9.- Sundial. Another fun plan with which they will also learn is to make a sundial in the sand. You only need to take 12 stones and arrange them in a circle. In the center a stick is stuck and its shadow will give us the time.

10.- Find fish. If the water is clean or in areas close to rocks, you can play to look for fish of different shapes and colors. They will hallucinate with nature!
