France prohibits smoking in their playgrounds
If smoking is bad, it is more so for children and, precisely for this reason, more must be protected from tobacco smoke. Precisely in this line goes one of the last measures of the French Government: just prohibit smoking in all playgrounds in the country, whether they are outdoors or in the center of a polluted city.

This new norm will be effective at the end of this month of June, reason why the ministry of health of France already has announced that, as of this summer, Children can enjoy a non-smoking environment in parks and gardens throughout France, something that is undoubtedly good news.
If someone violates this new rule, they will face a fine of 68 euros, an amount similar to those imposed for not respecting the regulations established in the French public health code, as reported in the newspaper El País.
With this new measure, France continues to lead the list of countries that restrictions put on tobacco to stop its expansion, because this smoke is responsible for about 78,000 deaths each year in France, as warned the Minister of Health, Marisol Touraine.
Between the measures against smoking The most famous of this country is the one that will force the tobacco companies to use neutral packs of tobacco. This new model of pack, which will come into force on January 1, 2017, is characterized by the fact that the tobacco brand appears in a small place, while 65% of the space is occupied by health warnings. Also, as of that date smoking will be prohibited in private cars if there is a child under 12 years on board.
The essence of this new decree is that it extends the ban on smoking in playgrounds throughout the country, because before it was only present in some cities. It is a measure of the Government of France, which is very concerned about the continuous increase in smokers in this country despite the high price of tobacco.
