5 sports to practice as a family
Several studies that talk about the importance of sports for children because of the physical benefits it brings. And is that exercise increases lung capacity, through aerobic mobilization, and also the flexibility of the muscles, by anaerobic activity. Sport promotes companionship, as well as values of sacrifice and overcoming, in addition, children who practice it have a greater self-esteem.
5 sports to practice as a family with young children
These are the most appropriate family sports for the little ones in the house:
1. The hiking, also known traditionally as hiking. When planning nature routes, it is very important to take into account the age of the children in order to plan the route of the walks, that is, to be more or less long and of greater or lesser difficulty. If we go to very small children, we can take them in a baby carrier so they can enjoy the breeze from the countryside.
These family routes are perfect to encourage dialogue and educate children in the care of our natural environment, and show them the variety of the various animal and plant species that inhabit the areas that are visited.
2. Swimming. It is one of the most complete sports that exist and one of the most fun activities that can be practiced as a family both on the beach and in the pool. It also allows to incorporate elements of distraction such as a ball to play water polo, a sport that serves for children to improve their aim and control over arms and legs.
3. The bicycle. Bicycle rides in safe places for children are a very rewarding family experience. Cycling is a complete exercise, which improves the coordination of children, as well as being an aerobic exercise (beneficial for the heart) that can be practiced in the family or in the peloton.
4. Tennis. It requires a psychomotor skills that children acquire after 5 or 6 years, so it is a sport for older children. In any case it is a fun and complete sport to practice as a family. It is possible to propose a doubles match with teams formed by an adult and a child, so that the level is not too unbalanced.
5. Skating. For lovers of wheels, the skating of a specific equipment - skateboards, elbows and knee protections, and helmet - but it is not expensive for families. It is ideal for children who tend to be less afraid of falls and therefore better handle the balance.
