Cabify offers child restraint seats

The safety and protection of the smallest is a subject of great concern in public and private urban transport. Traffic accidents are the main cause of death among children under 14, with 40% of cases in which no protection system was used. The so-called 'Child Retention Systems' (SRI) reduce deaths by 75% and injuries by the smallest by 90%, according to recent reports from the DGT.

Although taxi drivers are not required to carry the strollers for babies, it is the parents, or the adult accompanying the child, who are responsible for taking care of the so-called child restraint systems, with a fine of up to € 200.

Whatever the mode of transport, the importance of having the right IRS, as well as the correct use of it, makes the difference between one service or another. Aware of this reality, the application of urban mobility Cabify, makes available to users the possibility of travel with babies and small children in any of its vehicles with all the guarantees of safety, offering approved chairs adapted to the child's age and without additional surcharges.

With Cabify, he can request baby seats and / or small child for journeys in any of the existing categories. This service can be requested in a free making a early booking, and adding the request in the "Message for your driver" section, indicating the child's age (and approximate weight) or, directly, specifying the type / group of chair desired.
