The parents of Valencia will be able to consult the incidences of the school through the mobile
There has already been a lot of talk about how new technologies are becoming more integrated day by day. They already serve us for everything, from pregnancy to children learning, and they are also very integrated in schools. Now, another novelty arrives: the parents of the Valencian Community will be able to verify the absences of attendance of their children and the notes that their children take out in the school through the mobile.
This is possible thanks to a new online platform called 'Web of Families' in which the Ministry of Education of the Valencian Community is working with the objective that families can access all the academic information of their children through mobile or tablets.
This new online platform will be available as of the next course, and its objective will be to improve communication between parents and the school. For this, already in the third quarter of this course will start to work in a pilot, which will check their benefits and improvements and, thus, the next course is available for the rest of families.
Useful information for families with children in schools
The "web of families" of the Community of Valencia will allow parents to know the grades of their children, see their school schedules, check the tutoring hours of the teachers and, also, see the calendar of extra school activities and dates for exams, so it can become a tremendously useful tool in families.
But not only that; parents can also perform procedures online in the same web portal: ask for tutoring appointment with teachers, consult in real time the absences of their children and justify them, respond to notices and notifications from the center, and so on.
This information will be available through different virtual platforms and parents will be able to consult the data of all their children enrolled in the same session and with the same password.
The objective of this interesting initiative is to improve communication between schools and parents, thus ensuring that parents are better informed about everything related to day-to-day education of their children: from information about their school life to important news relative to it.
