Types of baby changers, which one is better?

Once we know the general advice that we should follow before getting a baby changing table, it is also good to know that not all are the same and that, as with cribs or carts, There are different types, and each one adapts better to some needs or to others,so it is useful to know them before buying.

Baby changers, usually, are usually formed by a small mattress (normally manufactured in lined foam form) with a cover of washable materials, they are soft and, above all, resistant. We tell you the types of exchangers that exist in the market more generally.

Changers, what types are there

-Changer-mattress The most basic model of changer is one that is simply a mattress that you can put on any surface. This model is very comfortable because it is smaller, which makes it ideal if you have little space at home, and also makes it laptop, what allows you to take it wherever you want: it only consists of the mattress, which you must place on a flat and stable surface.

-Changeable inflatable. It is the type of changer most designed to travel with the baby and make trips. It is usually made of non-toxic PVC and has a safety valve. You inflate it when you need it and deflate it later, which makes it very useful and practical to go on a trip, although not so much for daily and constant use, since the mattress does not have the same firmness.

-Changer with legs. This changer is like a table, only the table above is the mattress to change diapers and clothes the baby. It is designed in such a way that it can usually be placed over the bathtub, over the crib and even in the car. Usually, they already manufacture them that include compartments in which you can store the necessary items for the hygiene of the baby (from diapers to wipes, for example). This type of changers are very useful if they are foldable, because while they are not used they occupy very little space at home.

-Bag-changer. Also designed to go on a trip with the baby, it consists of a bag or backpack that serves as a bag for the baby with different compartments for diapers, baby bottles, etc. It carries a folding changing mattress, so it constitutes a two in one.

-Bathroom-changer. Certainly, in most of the houses is usually opted for this option, which seems the most useful: a bathtub that also includes the changing table. Thus, you will have two pieces of furniture in one, so it will save money and, above all, space. There are several models of this type of changer.

Bathtubs-changer

Baby changing tables for bathtubs are very useful furniture to have at home, here are some of the models you will find in stores:

-Folding changing table: are those whose legs have an X-shaped structure, which allows it to be folded easily. The bathtub can be used and, once we have bathed our baby, a special flat surface is placed on it: the changing table for the baby.

-Bathroom-changer non-folding: Another model very similar to this is the one that does not fold, which is really the only difference with the previous model. Otherwise, they work the same: on the bathtub the special mattress-changer is put.

-Bathroom-changer for bathtub: Although his name is redundant, it is not. It is a small piece of furniture prepared to adapt to the bathtub at home. Perfect for when we have little space and we should use the same one in the bath of the house. This contraption is mounted on a folding metal chassis and adapted to the large bathtub. There are also similar products designed to be placed on top of the bidet.

-Bathroom bathtub with changing table: the most complete model is the one that is a piece of furniture in itself in which the bathtub and the changer are integrated, so that after being used it becomes one more piece of furniture in the bedroom. In general, the surface of the changer is foldable, so it is recommended that you observe well that it has a brake to prevent displacement and falls.
