Fair of the Colleges of Madrid
Do you have doubts about which school will be the best for your children? Do not know which one to choose from among all the offer? This year, if you live in Madrid, the election will be something simpler: the first one arrives Fair of the Colleges of Madrid, a meeting designed to help parents choose the best study center for their children and attended by more than 1,600 schools in the region.
The Feria de los Colegios de Madrid 2015 is held on the first weekend of March, from Saturday 7 to Sunday 8, just a few days before the enrollment period begins (March 10). Thus, it becomes an unmissable event for those who are thinking about changing their children's school or simply going to register for the first time.
The appointment of the schools
The best schools of Madrid (both private, as agreed and public) will meet in this meeting. There, each one will have their own space and parents can sit quietly and talk with their managers to know first-hand the educational project, the offer of languages and services, their facilities and any other questions you may have as parents before choosing the best school for your pupils.
Also, if you have doubts about the admission processes in schools (the scale followed by the Public Administration, for example) and the different public programs put in place, this will also be the best place to inform you.
And the best: everything is totally free. The meetings will be held on Saturday from 10 in the morning until eight in the afternoon, and on Sunday until two in the afternoon. And the place is none other than the tallest building in Spain: the Crystal Tower, in the complex of the Cuatro Torres, the economic heart of the country.
Activities for children
Understanding that choosing the best school needs tranquility and that perhaps your children get bored while talking to the representatives of each center, in the Fair of the Schools of Madrid there will be a playful and educational space to entertain the little ones while you know at first hand the academic offer of the schools.
So for example, it is planned that the famous cartoon character Peppa Pig be throughout the day at the Fair to play with children. You can take photos with her and let your children have fun.
But not only that, during the two days there will be professional monitors dedicated entirely to doing that your children have a great time and to ensure their safety. A lot of activities and workshops aimed at different ages will be developed: from a "bebeteca" to a finger painting space, for example.
What are you waiting for? Not only is it a perfect opportunity to clear many doubts about choosing the best school for children, but these will have a great time, and all with free and free access.
