Prepare your skin for your wedding day

For every bride, the day of her wedding deserves to be an unforgettable day. It is a date in which we wish to be radiant and pay special attention to the dress, shoes, hairstyle, and of course to our appearance and our skin! For that special occasion many women decide to put on makeup in a beauty salon, but why not try it ourselves?

With a few simple tricks we can get an impeccable makeup for that big day, but to make it perfect before we have to take care of our skin with proper preparation.

Keys to prepare your skin for the day of the wedding

1. Cleaning and hydration for your skin.

- A nice makeup starts with a well cared skin and well hydrated. The weeks leading up to the wedding are key to putting our face to the point. It is advisable to drink plenty of water, sleep well and perform a routine of cleansing and hydration adapted to the needs of our skin, at least during the three or four weeks before the wedding. The key is the constancy and the choice of products that adapt to our needs!

- If we opt for some beauty treatment in professional beauty centers, like facial cleansing or exfoliation, it is not advisable to do it the days before the wedding since some techniques can irritate the skin and leave some marks that will disappear after a few days. It is better to go to the beauty center a week in advance.

2. Prebase for the face.

When the big day of the wedding arrives we will have the skin in the best possible conditions, but even so many of us will need a little extra help to prepare our skin.

A good idea is to invest in a pre-base for the face. This product is used after cleansing and moisturizing the skin and before makeup. It is applied in a thin uniform layer insisting on the "T zone" and will serve to prepare and protect the skin smoothing the pores and small lines of expression and preventing the color products from entering the pores.

It will also allow us to apply makeup more evenly, control shine and, above all, will make our makeup last much longer intact.

3. Fixing and retouching on the day of the wedding.

Bridal makeup has to last many hours. Make sure to fix it well with translucent powders, including the part of the eyecup. In addition, there are sprays that are sprayed on the face and keep the makeup intact for longer.
Throughout the day, touch-ups can help make our makeup look like the first time. I would recommend that you carry in a small bag the necessary products to touch up, namely: powders, lipstick / gloss, corrector and cotton swabs in case it is necessary to restore the eye shadow.

If your skin is very greasy, take better pieces of paper that absorb excess oil before adding layers and layers of powder since if we go over it can give an overloaded appearance to the skin.
