Food and school performance: five keys
The academic course brings with it the periodic realization of a series of exams that must be overcome. It is time to study regularly, and this is where food plays a fundamental role. The diet plays a major role in academic success.
Any physical or mental effort like studying hours and hours needs to be countered with a balanced diet, in order to recover everything lost and be able to face the exam properly. Five guidelines for food intake and academic results
1. Start the day with a varied breakfast, it must be one of the most complete meals of the day and more for a student. Milk, cereals, eggs, juices, toast or fruit are some of the foods that should make up your breakfast. It is the fuel needed to burn throughout the day.
2. Avoid the whims as industrial bollerías, sweets, or energy drinks. The sedentary lifestyle of the students provokes in them the need to ingest products of this type. Substituting snack for fruit, healthy snacks or non-sugary drinks in excess is much healthier than foods on a whim, in addition to providing all the necessary energy and without excess calories.
3. Bet on a balanced diet. Having a diet as varied as possible will be decisive in your academic success. A diet deficient in vitamins can cause lack of energy and vitality, which can be reflected in the exams. In the daily diet, there must be vegetables, fruits, at least five pieces, meat or fish, eggs, milk and other dairy products, and especially water, at least 1 liter per day.
