The most demanded toys internationally

By category, inflatable balls and balloons decreased by 11.99 percent and dolls category by 12 percent, affected by the situation in the Russian market, where doll exports had grown spectacularly in recent years.
The Spanish toy in the international market
The export of Spanish toys to the rest of the world, especially to the countries of the European Community, has not stopped growing. And that to the upward trend in sales at the national level must be added the growth in exports. In figures, until August the sales of toys to the international market grew by 8.37 percent, in value, with respect to 2014. In number of kilos the export was higher reaching an accumulated growth of 9.98 percent, which shows a clear competitive improvement.
As for the destination countries of the Spanish toy, the increases stand out, on the one hand, and within the European market, of the United Kingdom, with a rise of 130%, which places it as the fourth country in the European ranking; and on the other, outside the borders of the Union, of the United States which also reaches the three figures with growth of 103.4% reaching 8 million euros and climbing positions in the ranking ahead of European destinations such as Belgium.
For its part, imports also grow and do so by 13%, in value, reflecting in kilos a decrease of 5.61%. The main country of origin of imports remains China with 59.4 percent followed by Germany with 6.72 percent and France with 6.31 percent.
