Nissan Micra: flirtatious with an aggressive point
The new one is here Micra, that will tread the streets in February and you can go commissioning. At the moment the range starts with a base price of 13,500 euros.
If we start making comparisons, we can leave the model somewhat off the hook of other similar cars of the competition. But we must bear in mind that it is a rate without promotions. This fifth generation arrives with a torrent of innovations and shows strength in the market. In terms of image, it maintains that point of aggressiveness in the design that was already striking in the first Micra. We are facing a car that it does not go unnoticed, without being extravagant.
It should be noted that the Japanese brand has designed the Micra in Europe for this market, very demanding in the cars of the segment B to which it belongs. In the old continent, in this type of vehicle the sports design and avant-garde innovations, while in Japan, they are much more pragmatic and seek more functionality. There it is more usual to see small cars very square, to get the greater habitability with the least surface occupation.
A lot of technology
And as we also like innovations here, Nissan has turned to offer everything possible, especially in driving aids, even to approach intelligent driving. An example is the Alert and prevention of involuntary lane change, which not only warns that the lane is being changed but also encourages a return to the original trajectory. Or the Intelligent front emergency brake, which has a frontal anti-collision system with pedestrian recognition thanks to the combination of an approach radar and a camera.
As an advance of autonomous driving, Nissan borrows from Qashqai the 360 degree vision camera, the identifier of traffic signals, the automatic lighting system and the dead angle control.
Already when it comes to driving comfort, the new sound system is incorporated Bose Personal with six speakers, two of them in the driver's headrest to achieve a total sound immersion. It also includes a central seven-inch color screen to control the audio system, the satellite navigation, the mobile phone, the downloadable applications and the Siri voice control through Apple CarPlay.
Where we find the largest sample of pragmatism is under the hood, with mechanics in which efficiency premium, in order to obtain the best balance between benefits, consumption and emissions. In this sense, the Micra is offered with three engines: the entry engine will be a 1-liter, 73-horsepower, three-cylinder gasoline.
This mechanism is proposed as the most balanced and I dare say that the most recommended, although it is very possible, and the same manufacturer says that the market demands the turbocharged tricylinder gasoline engine powered by 0.9 liters and 90 horsepower. The virtues of this engine are the appropriate form of force delivery, with a approved consumption 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers and emissions of 99 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The range of engines is completed with the diesel engine 1.5 dCi, with 90 horses, a consumption of only 3.2 liters in combined cycle and with emissions of 88 grams.

Micra's launch policy has been developed so that customers can practically make a On-demand order, and can combine the five levels of finishing: Visia, Visia +, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna, which is combined with an aesthetic customization program with up to 125 possible personal requests ranging from rims with the same color as the body, to vinyl on the roof and hood, going through the interior customization also matching the colors of the body.
