Greenway of the Guadarrama River (4.5 km)

Between Móstoles and the bridge over the Guadarrama River, this route has a length of 4.5 kilometers and is perfect for people of all conditions. It has a pleasant descent down to the Guadarrama River, which is crossed by a footbridge, and a gentle ascent to the countryside of Navalcarnero. If the route is short, it is possible to continue up to Navalcarnero (12 kilometers) along the old railway line (but, be careful, it is unsettled and without signs).

You can get there by Metro to this route, at the stations of Canillejas, El Capricho and Alameda de Osuna. The Madrid subway allows bikes to be moved on weekends.

Greenway of the Train of the 40 days (14 km)

Located between Carabaña and Estremera, it offers 14 kilometers of great walk thanks to how well prepared it is. It can be reached in two ways: on foot, by bicycle or wheelchair, along the Via Verde del Tajuña, a route with which it is complemented (and with which it would add 63 kilometers) or from Carabaña itself. Just a warning: be prepared because it has a good slope.

Greenway of the Tajuña River (49 km)

A nice walk that begins in the subway station of Arganda del Rey and that arrives at Morata de Tajuña, where the valley of the river goes up to Ambite by a lane conditioned with reddish asphalt.

Greenway of the Alberche River (22 km)

This route runs from the Picadas reservoir (Aldea del Fresno) to San Martín de Valdeiglesias. The first part runs parallel to the Picadas reservoir through a fluvial canyon within the Bird Protection Zone (ZEPA) of the Alberche and Cofio rivers, which makes it great for teaching children important concepts of nature. The second part runs between urbanizations, pine forests and vineyards from Pelayos de la Presa to San Martín de Valdeiglesias.
