The month of May brings with it, in Madrid, the patron celebrations: San Isidro, whose big day is May 15. The capital dresses up as a party and there are many new attractions for locals and visitors. Thursday may 14 it is the starting signal for the San Isidro Labrador festivities. In the Plaza de la Villa will begin, at 18.00, the parade with the Giants and Bigheads, which this year come from Pamplona. On the same day, at 8:00 p.m., the musician Ara Malikian will be in charge of giving the opening speech for these days.
