Home remedies to fight lice

Back to school is associated with the appearance of lice in children. It is very common and you should not alert. Today, there are numerous effective treatments that will help you eliminate lice, but perhaps its components can irritate the skin of the child. To avoid this, we suggest you use home remedies to help you naturally to eradicate its appearance.

Itching, irritation or skin infections caused by scratching, are some of the symptoms that any of us can get. Lice are increasingly resistant to chemical pesticides, so the use of natural remedies is a healthy alternative to these treatments.


Vinegar

One of the best known and used is the treatment with vinegar. All families have vinegar at home, it is only necessary to heat it, apply it on the child's hair completely dry and cover it with a plastic cap or a towel to keep the heat. Ideally, apply it around 30 minutes or one hour, in which we will be brushing the hair with a special comb, a nursery, to remove the nits. Afterwards, we will clarify the hair. We will repeat the preceso some biweekly, until the discomfort disappears completely.

Eucalyptus and lemon

With these ingredients we will make a lotion against lice. To make it, we must boil a liter of water with a little rosemary and three or four leaves of eucalyptus. Once it starts to boil, add the lemon juice. This lotion should be applied half an hour and during this time brush the affected areas with the special comb.


Olive oil

Apply this recipe to mix a liter of olive oil with 20 drops of lavender essential oil, 20 drops of geranium essential oil and two sprigs of rosemary. We leave it to macerate for eight or ten hours and then mix it with about 50 centiliters of hot water. Immediately, we apply it on the child's scalp and let it act for 30 minutes.

Aromatic oils

Many of these oils can help fight against the posh and the appearance of nits, which end up dying to these fragrances: coconut oil, jasmine, anise, geranium They are easy to find and apply, and will not harm the child's scalp.
The most effective against lice is the oil of the tea tree. It is recommended to add 3 or 4 drops to the shampoo to prevent Lice infestation (pediculosis). To treat it, it is convenient to eliminate the nits with a nurse on the hair impregnated with pure tea tree oil.


Disinfect the house

Until 80 percent of the posh resist the compounds for their eradication. Therefore, the most natural and effective means is to disinfect clothes, sheets, sofa cover, towels and brushes. To do this, we will submerge the clothes in hot water, about 50 degrees. In the case of combs or brushes, the water must be boiling, and we will leave them inside during one 1 minute.
