The illusion is a positive feeling, a feeling of joy and satisfaction that accompanies us and helps us to pursue dreams. The illusion is that feeling that makes us join all our forces to pursue an objective, to advance every day. But, at certain times some people experience a lack of illusion.

When everything gives you equal and you do not find reasons or forces to pursue your dreams, to carry out your day to day, when the lack of illusion appears, everything becomes uphill and moving forward can be a challenge. However, it is possible to overcome apathy and return the illusion.

The illusion, a mixture of joy and satisfaction

What is illusion? Surely we all know what illusion is, but defining it is not as easy as it seems. The illusion is linked to emotion to a positive emotional state. The word illusion comes from the Latin term illusionis and it means cheating. The illusion is a deception because it supposes to believe in what we do not see, to believe in what we do not yet have, and together our forces and even to get excited in a positive way with it.


The illusion is a mixture of joy and satisfaction, the illusion makes us feel good and motivates us, the illusion even if caused by a single object or motive floods our whole life and becomes an attitude that accompanies us in our day to day life. The illusion can appear by a relationship, by a new job, by fulfilling a dream, by buying a house, by winning a prize, etc ... regardless of the origin of this feeling the important thing is that it extends to everything that surrounds us The illusion fills us with energy and makes us approach our day to day with enthusiasm.

The role of illusion in our well-being


The illusions are essential for people, from childhood we learn to delude ourselves, we build our projects and we believe in them. In this way the illusion becomes that necessary force that makes us pursue our goals, which helps us to achieve our goals, even if we have to make an effort or even if we do not achieve it the first time. But the illusion is much more than that it becomes a capacity, a motor, that pushes us and makes us feel good. The most important goal is not to get it, but the way traveled, and that path is only possible thanks to a partner the illusion.

The illusion is not achieved with external elements to our life, since the most usual thing is that we are marked by numerous conditions that we can not change. The way to develop it is to get rid of those aspects that oppress us. As C. 2. A lack of chronic illusion. This refers to the lack of illusion that is part of the character and that appears as an attitude to life, this lack of illusion affects negatively in our lives, as it prevents us from achieving goals and when we do not achieve them, we feed back the lack of hope, being condemned to constant discomfort and apathy. In these cases it is very important to change our attitude, and even contact a specialist who can help us.

What happens when we lack illusion?

The lack of illusion has negative consequences in the lives of people:

- Lack of interest and motivation. What leads to failure in everything we set out.

- Abandonment of goals and objectives.

- Sadness and depression. Sensation of emptiness and chronic dissatisfaction.

- Bad mood.

- Despair and boredom.

- It can affect the studies, work and personal relationships.

8 antidotes against the lack of illusion How to recover the illusion?

1. Analyze your life, and be truly honest with yourself. Why do not you have an illusion? Do you do what really fills you? What would you like?

2. Come closer little by little to what you would like. It is not about changing your life completely, or maybe it is. But you can make small changes, look for small challenges, small illusions.

3. Renew your illusions every day. To do this, look for things that make you wish, worth the little things.Write down your illusions, imagine them, close your eyes and let feel that pleasant sensation (sometimes the fear of disappointment paralyzes us the pleasant emotions), elaborates a plan to approach each day a little more to your illusions.

4. Do not be afraid to fail, think that it is the worst thing that can happen if I fail.

5. Value your achievements and your effort and ask those around you to help you in this sense to value your small achievements.

6. Set yourself illusions based on affordable goals, but that motivate you.

7. Tomate the failures with a sense of humor and try to learn from them.

8. Take care of your self-esteem and not the bases in achieving or not your illusions.
